VigorACS provides centralized device management for TR-069 based CPEs such as broadband gateway, VPN, xDSL router, VoIP gateway, and Wireless AP. TR-069 is a DSL Forum technical specification entitled CPE WAN Management Protocol (CWMP). It defines an application layer protocol for remote management of end-user devices. VigorACS has device status, monitor status of devices, or perform provisioning tasks such as firmware upgrade, configuration backup/restore and parameter profile for mass deployment of CPE devices. It is easy to use through intuitive Web-based GUI with security management. VigorACS can be installed on different kinds of platform e.g. Windows, Linux and Sun Solaris and manage 10,000 up to 50,000 devices complied with TR-069 specification. The deployment of VigorACS server inside TUS Telecom ( TU? Telekom ) is integrated with its CRM ( Customer Relationship Management ). VigorACS server lets TUS Telecom bring proactive and prompt services to customers, thousands of Vigor2700 series can be ensured with stable operation under the auto-provision, auto-discovery, VoIP efficient monitoring and management.

Fully complied with TR-069 Standard Manage all kinds of devices complied with TR-069 specification such as broadband gateway, XDSL router/modem, VoIP phone, wireless AP and Set-Top box. Device Auto Discovery Devices compiled with TR-069 standard can register to VigorACS automatically. All you have to do is to Set up ACS URL on devices. Unlimited Network level to group CPEs Administrator can group CPEs by network on VigorACS. VigorACS allows unlimited sub-network level to group CPEs.
Status/Performance monitor and Auto Configuration The CPE WAN Management Protocol provides support for a CPE to make available information that the ACS may use to monitor the status and performance statistics CPE. The protocol defines a common set of such parameters, and provides a standard syntax for vendors to define additional non-standard parameters that an ACS can monitor. It also defines a set of conditions under which a CPE should actively notify the ACS of changes.
It can monitor the status of the devices, IP address, and version numbers and so on.
VigorACS will retrieve all parameters of CPEs at the initial connection. Administrator can refresh all parameters at any time if CPE has new parameters. VigorACS provides intuitive GUI to get and set all parameter values. Through VigorACS, you can manage different parameter specification like TR-104 for VoIP or vendor specific parameters like Firewall, VPN and NAT on Vigor Router dynamically. VigorACS also provide combobox to configure selection parameters and radiobox to configure boolean parameters.
Dynamic Service Provisioning The CPE WAN Management Protocol allows an ACS to provision a CPE or collection of CPE based on a variety of criteria. The provisioning mechanism includes specific provisioning parameters and a general mechanism for adding vendor-specific provisioning capabilities as needed.
The provisioning mechanism allows CPE provisioning at the time of initial connection to the broadband access network, and the ability to re-provision at any subsequent time. This includes support for asynchronous ACS-initiated re-provisioning of a CPE.
The identification mechanisms included in the protocol allow CPE provisioning based either on the requirements of each specific CPE, or on collective criteria such as the CPE vendor, model, software version, or other criteria.
The protocol also provides optional tools to manage the CPE-specific components of optional applications or services for which an additional level of security is required to control, such as those involving payments.
VigorACS has many features depending on TR-069 provisioning mechanism. First of all, VigorACS will create CPE on the system automatically when CPE provisioning at the time of initial connection. Administrator does not need to create CPE by itself or have any other discovery CPE functions. Second, VigorACS will retrieve all parameters of CPE dynamically. Administrator does not need to have other parameter definition to manage parameters of the CPEs. Finally, Dynamic Service Provisioning of VigorACS can help administrator to set parameters of CPE to activate some services like PPPoE and VoIP. The end user can really plug-in-play the service.
Topology Management Topology management of VigorACS integrates with Google Map. Your VigorACS Server must have internet access capability to make sure VigorACS can get Map data. Each CPE will display on Map by the actual customer address of CPE. Administrator has to input the address information of CPE when starting to manage the CPE. Otherwise, the CPE will display on network address on the Map. VigorACS has GUI to help administrator to create customer address of CPE.
Indicate VPN connection on topology For Vigor VPN router, VigorACS can display all VPN connections on topology's way. Administrator can monitor, create, and delete VPN connection more easily.
Advanced Firmware Management The CPE WAN Management Protocol also defines a digitally signed file format that may optionally be used to download either individual files or a package of files along with explicit installation instructions for the CPE to perform. This signed package format ensures the integrity of downloaded files and the associated installation instructions, allowing authentication of a file source that may be a party other than the ACS operator.
Administrator can use advanced firmware management to manage CPE firmware easily. You can set up a software version to a model on advanced firmware management on VigorACS. VigorACS will check CPE software version by CPE provisioning mechanism. When the software version on CPE is different with the setting, VigorACS will request CPE to get correct firmware. All the software version of CPEs will be the same under VigorACS management. We also provide exclusive list to allow some CPEs with specific software version.
Log system VigorACS will log every activity among VigorACS's user, VigorACS, CPEs. VigorACS will log user login, file upload, set parameters, CPE inform, and so on. You can check any problem by logs.
Security Management VigorACS provides three security levels. Different security level has different features. For instance, Supper Administrator can do anything, but administrator can not enable/disable CPE.
VigorACS also provides the security control to allow operator to manage CPE or network. For instance, you can allow one operator to manage one network but others operators can not.
Northbound Interfaces VigorACS provides a serious of Web Service for Northbound interfaces. You can use these Web Services by Web Service standard. VigorACS also provides a Java based client API to help customer to use these Web Services.
